Pricing and Shipping:

- Most items will ship within 5-10 business days. However, larger items, fragile pieces, original artwork, and sculptures may take longer.

- Shipping arrangements for fine art, sculptures, or other fragile works will be made directly from the studio in coordination with the buyer. We will contact you via email to make arrangements in writing.

- White glove shipping and installation are included in the price for items totaling over $12,000 USD. We will contact you via email to make arrangements in writing.



Shipping Damage Insurance:

- All shipments are insured against damage during transit.

- In the event that an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item at [insert email address]. We will contact you via email to make arrangements in writing regarding the next steps. You will need to provide photographs and a detailed description of the damage.

 8. Commissioning a Painting




Mark Warren Jacques Studio offers the unique opportunity to commission original artwork. Each commission is treated as a collaborative endeavor, ensuring a unique, personalized result.




a. Pricing Estimate:

- The price for a commissioned painting varies depending on the size, materials, and complexity of the piece.

- The sliding scale pricing approach allows for flexibility, ensuring that commissioned pieces can fit a variety of circumstances. Does this approch to art sales break capitalism?

- I will provide a specific price estimate after our initial discussion, where we clarify the scale and desired details of the piece.




b. The Process:

- Initial Discussion: The commission process starts with a direct conversation—either by phone or email—to understand the patron's desires. During this discussion, we explore the size, materials, concept, price, and timeline of the artwork.

- Agreement and Down Payment: Once all details have been finalized, a 50% down payment is required to begin the work. The remaining 50% is due upon delivery or within 7 days thereof. We will contact you via email to finalize all details in writing.

- Timeline: The timeline for each commission varies depending on the scale and scope of the project. Typically, painting commissions take 8-12 weeks from start to delivery.




c. Creative Approach to Commissions:

- Collaboration: Commissions offer a collaborative experience between the artist and the patron, resulting in something unique yet highly controlled. Mark enjoys this collaboration process, as it often leads to learning and new creative discoveries.

- Scope and Style: Mark Warren Jacques only accepts commissions that align with his visual identity and style. Requests for subjects outside of this scope will not be considered. Typically, commissions revolve around expanding upon a past work to ensure the commissioned work remains true to Mark's artistic vision.




 9. Commissioning a Mural




Mark Warren Jacques Studio also offers the opportunity to commission murals. Each mural commission is approached similarly to paintings, with additional considerations based on the environment and size of the project.




a. Pricing Estimate:

- Mural pricing depends on several factors:

  - Square Footage

  - Complexity of Artwork: The number of colors, level of detail, and design intricacy affect the overall cost.

  - Environmental Challenges: Elements such as the need for lifts, scaffolding, or working in challenging environments will also influence the price.

- An estimated price is provided during the initial discussion to give clients a clear understanding before moving forward.




b. The Process:

- Initial Discussion: The commissioning process begins with a conversation—via phone or email—to discuss the patron’s desires, including the size, materials, concept, price, and timeline.

- Agreement and Payment Terms:

  - 10% Down Payment: Required to initiate project design, mock-ups, and renders.

  - 40% Payment: Due to begin the work once the design is approved.

  - 50% Final Payment: Due within 30 days of the signed-off completed mural. We will contact you via email to finalize all details in writing.




 10. Limitation of Liability




Mark Warren Jacques Studio will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or from any products purchased through this website.
